Before...

This is the story of "before", a story of change; for Eric, and for America.

And where for Eric, "before" meant family, childhood, friends, a city, college, a career, more friends, for America it was different. Where Eric mostly grew within the known accepted boundaries of the past, America changed radically, madly, seismically even. Eric’s journey into his vision of dystopian "Leaving Las Vegas" meets “"Madagascar" American society started as the 1950’s yielded to the rollicking 1960’s and rampant change roiled all of Society evermore.

Talk about falling into a rabbit hole...

America went through massive growing pains throughout that period as turmoil, upset, and societal mayhem reigned everywhere. Eric marched along in tandem (hut one, hut two, hut…), as "Traditional" Society morphed into the different, and the "Different" morphed into the modern, and the "Modern" marched on into the now.

But this is the story of before, the present is a long way off, though it’s oncoming like a freight train…
